Troubleshooting and common questions

Quick answers to the questions we’re asked most. Each one links to the fuller guide where there is one, but in most cases the fix here is all you need.

A guest says they can’t RSVP

Three usual causes. The RSVP deadline has passed, in which case the form has closed and you can extend the date in the Guests workspace. You’re using guest-list RSVP and their name isn’t on the list, or is spelt differently from how they’re searching, so check the entry you imported. Or the page has been taken offline, which you can put right in Settings. The two RSVP modes are explained in Set up RSVPs and meal choices.

Photos aren’t appearing in the gallery

Most often the photos are there, just waiting for you: with moderation on, uploads sit in a queue until approved, so check Gallery > Pending. Otherwise the album window may not have opened yet, or the upload permission has been toggled off in Settings. The album window and moderation are covered in Set up the photo album.

My album open date looks wrong

A Safari bug, fixed on 13 May 2026, could set album open dates to the current date rather than the date you picked. If you set your event up in Safari before then, open Gallery > Settings, check the open date and correct it. Events set up after the fix aren’t affected.

Guests can’t find their seat

First check the plan is published at all: it stays private until you flip the publish toggle in the Seating workspace, and an unpublished plan simply doesn’t appear on your page. If it is published, the name on the plan must match what the guest is searching, so “Katie” won’t find a seat saved under “Katherine”. Building and publishing the plan is covered in Build the seating plan.

I can’t add the seating plan, guestbook or music section

Those sections are tier-gated. In the section library, a tile that needs a higher plan shows a Plus badge, and the matching rail items show a lock icon. Upgrading from the rail’s Upgrade button unlocks them immediately, with nothing to rebuild.

I want to change my page after going live

Just edit it. Changes save automatically and are live immediately, so a corrected start time or a new section reaches guests the moment you make it. There’s no separate republish step, and guests don’t need to do anything to see the new version.

How do I log out or delete my account?

Both live in Settings, under Account. Logging out is immediate and harmless. Deleting your account removes your events and their data permanently, so download anything you want to keep before you do.

I forgot my password

Use the reset link on the login page and follow the email. Worth noting the distinction: this is your organiser account password. The guest password on your event page is a separate thing, and you can see or change that one in Settings whenever you like.

If none of these matches your problem, get in touch and include your event link; it makes the diagnosis far quicker.
