For UK weddings
Add the photo album to your wedding page and guests upload from their camera roll. Every photo is screened, you can approve each one before it appears, and you download the keepers from the studio. There's no app to install and nobody needs an account.
Add the photo album section. Guests open your wedding link, tap Upload, tick the consent box and pick photos from their camera roll. They can add their name or upload anonymously.
The album is a web page. Guests open it in Safari or Chrome with no downloads and no account. Photos are resized on their phone before they go up, so uploads are quick.
Send the wedding link by message or email, or download the QR code from the studio and print it on table cards or the welcome sign. Guests scan it and they're on your page.
Every upload is checked automatically for anything unsuitable. Turn on 'Require moderation' and each photo also waits for your approval. A photo is visible only once it has passed both.
The album opens on your wedding day by default and stays open for your plan's window: 7 days free, 30 on Starter, 90 on Plus, 180 on Complete. Then the photos are deleted.
Guests see the album as thumbnails on the page. You download the full-size photos you want to keep from the studio, one at a time, before the window closes.
01
Add the photo album section to your wedding page. Choose whether to require your approval, check the opening date, and add a password if you want one.
02
Message, email or a printed QR code. Guests open your page and the album is right there when it opens on the day.
03
Guests upload from their camera roll. Each photo is screened, approved by you if you've asked for that, and then appears as a thumbnail in the album. Download the ones you love from the studio.
That's the whole setup. Your wedding page holds the album, guests open the link, and they're in. No app store trip, no account setup, no passwords to remember. A QR code on your table cards or welcome sign shortens it to one tap.
Every upload is screened automatically before anyone sees it. Turn on 'Require moderation' and each photo also waits for your approval, or leave it off and approved photos appear once the screening passes. On paid plans, co-organisers can help review. You can remove anything from the studio at any point.
Your album stays open for the window included in your plan, counted from the day it opens. Download the full-size photos you want from the studio while it's open; when the window closes, Ode permanently deletes them. There are no lingering copies on our servers and your data is never resold.
Photos go up one after another while the guest has the page open. If a phone loses signal mid-upload the photo shows 'Upload failed' and can be retried, but nothing is stored to send later. At a venue with patchy reception, put the QR code where the signal is best and remind guests they can upload from home during the window.
The Share panel in the studio gives you a QR code that opens your wedding page or the album. Drop it into any table-card template, stick it on a bar sign, or print it on the order of service. Guests scan it and land on your page with the album waiting.
