About Ode
Ode Events is made by Laramattix Ltd. We started building it while planning our own wedding, and this page explains what it does and what it deliberately doesn’t.
When we started planning our wedding, we tried the usual wedding website builders. One wanted our guests to download an app, which we knew half of them never would. Another charged a monthly subscription for something we needed for one day. A third put a vendor marketplace next to our names and started recommending photographers before we’d finished typing the venue.
What we wanted was less ambitious than any of that: one page with the venue, the schedule, an RSVP with meal choices, and a photo album every guest could add to from their camera roll. One link to put on the invitations. So we built it.
A guest opens your link in whatever browser their phone already has. The RSVP takes under a minute and asks for a meal choice as part of it. The schedule, venue and seating search are on the same page, and the photo album accepts uploads straight from the camera roll. There are no accounts and nothing to install, because anything harder than opening a link means chasing people anyway.

Sophie & James, the sample wedding. Every section is live; click through it as a guest would.
You build the page in an evening with a live preview, then watch the replies arrive. The dashboard shows who has replied and who hasn’t, per-course meal totals you can export for the caterer, photo moderation if you want it, and a drag-and-drop seating plan that fills itself from the RSVPs. You can add a co-organiser so you’re not the only one with the keys.

The RSVP dashboard: replies, meal totals and dietary follow-ups in one place.
There is no vendor marketplace and there never will be. Your wedding page is not a lead-generation tool for someone else’s photography business.
We don’t run subscriptions. The free plan covers a small wedding end to end; if you need more, you pay once for the one event.
We don’t keep your data. When your album window closes, photos and guest data are permanently deleted. We never collect dietary details at all: guests flag that they have a requirement and you talk to them directly, because medical and religious information doesn’t belong in our database.
Ode Events is a small company, which means the person reading the support inbox is also one of the people who wrote the code. If something doesn’t work the way you expected, or there’s a feature you wish existed, email hello@ode.events and you’ll get a reply from a founder.

Everything on this page is taken from the live product. If you’d rather judge it yourself, the example wedding is open: send an RSVP, browse the album, search the seating plan.
