Wedding Planner Software in the UK (2026): An Honest Roundup

10 min read

A UK wedding planner’s software has two jobs: the back office (enquiries, proposals, contracts, invoices) and the client side (the couple’s website, RSVPs, seating and guests). HoneyBook, now sold in the UK in pounds, Dubsado and 17hats do the back office. Aisle Planner does both, with event websites and RSVPs, priced in dollars. Planning Pod has turned towards venues. PlannerDay is a UK-priced newcomer. Ode Business does only the client side, from £9.99 a month. The practical answer is often one of each.

First, our bias

Ode Business is ours, and it sits in the second half of that sentence: it gives your couples their wedding website and runs nothing in your back office. We’ve reviewed the others on what they say they do, checked on each company’s own site on 15 October 2026. Prices change, and several are in dollars, so check before you commit.

The back office

HoneyBook: now in the UK

HoneyBook was long sold only in the US and Canada. It is now live in the UK and Australia, with subscriptions in pounds. It covers the client relationship end to end: enquiries, proposals, contracts, invoices and payments, scheduling, automations and a client portal. Its UK page lists Starter at £22, Essentials at £39 and Premium at £79 a month billed annually (£30, £45 and £100 monthly), though its UK pricing page showed different figures when we looked, so confirm at sign-up. There is a 30-day free trial with no card. It has no guest-facing tools, and its own comparison suggests planners use something else for guest RSVPs.

Pick it if: you want the most polished all-round back office, now billed in pounds.

Dubsado: flexible forms and workflows

Dubsado is Californian, priced in dollars and billed yearly: $335 for Starter or $525 for Premier, which adds scheduling, workflows and public proposals. It does CRM, invoicing with payment plans, forms and client portals, with a 21-day trial and no card needed. Set your invoice currency to pounds before you connect payments; it locks once you do. Nothing for guests.

Pick it if: you like building your own forms and workflows and don’t mind dollar billing.

17hats: one plan for any small business

17hats is a general small-business tool rather than a wedding one: quotes, contracts, invoices, questionnaires, scheduling and a client portal, on one plan at $60 a month or $600 a year, with a 7-day trial. You can invoice in pounds. Nothing for guests.

Both halves in one

Aisle Planner: the planner’s all-rounder

Aisle Planner is the one tool here built for planners on both sides. Its project plans run from $69.99 a month for up to 15 projects to $229.99 for 51 to 100 (10% off annually, 30-day trial with a card), and the app can work in pounds. Every project plan includes a client portal, timelines, checklists, budgets, vendor and guest management, layouts and seating, and an event website with online RSVP where guests can choose meals. Seating plans are shared as PDFs with your team, clients and vendors, and the website’s photo gallery is one you or the couple fill, rather than one guests upload to.

Pick it if: you want one system and are happy to run the couple’s website from your own account.

Planning Pod: now aimed at venues

Planning Pod (Florida) now leads with “built for venues”: CRM, proposals and contracts with e-signatures, invoices with instalments, client portals, floor plans and event registration, with event webpages where guests RSVP and choose meals. Pricing is by demo; its own FAQ puts single-location venues between $199 and $319 a month, and it doesn’t publish planner pricing. Payments are in US dollars.

PlannerDay: UK-priced and new

PlannerDay prices in pounds, from £9.99 a month for one planner to £19.99 for a team and £99 for larger firms, with two months free on annual billing and a 14-day trial. It manages guests, sends invites and tracks responses, and offers QR song requests; it doesn’t mention a wedding website or seating. Its terms are under English law, but the site doesn’t name the company behind it, which is worth asking about before you store client data there.

The couple’s side: Ode Business

Ode Business for planners does one thing: every client gets a wedding website they build themselves, under your account. It has everything on our top couples’ plan: guest-list RSVP with meal choices for up to 500 replies, catering totals and PDFs, a seating plan guests search by name on their phones, a gift list, a guestbook, and a guest photo album when you add one. You create the event, invite the couple, and open any of your events if they want a hand. A template puts your timeline, FAQs and recommended suppliers on every new page.

Essential is £9.99 a month for one login, with albums at 3p a photo; Pro is £49 a month with a monthly photo pool and 3 seats. It doesn’t do enquiries, contracts or invoices, so it sits alongside HoneyBook, Dubsado or whatever you already use.

Pick it if: your couples should own and build their own page, and you want RSVPs, seating and photos handled without running them yourself.

How to put a stack together

  • One tool for everything: Aisle Planner, if you’re happy to build each couple’s website yourself.
  • Back office plus the couple’s page: HoneyBook or Dubsado for the business, Ode Business for the couple’s website, RSVPs, seating and photos.
  • Mostly venue work: look at Planning Pod, which has moved that way.
  • Just starting out: a back-office tool first; your couples can use a free wedding website until you’re ready to include one.
